The always beautiful Britannia Beach in the West End of Ottawa hosted the stunning, colourful wedding of Maxime & Jay. The weeping willows, rock bridge and the cove make for some of Ottawa’s most incredible scenery, and obviously make for beautiful pictures.

We met at father’s cottage. It was August long weekend and I was up there for a girl’s weekend. Jay’s favorite part of the wedding was the oyster bar and the scotch and cigar toast after dinner. I don’t have one favorite part, the whole thing was just perfect. I loved the whole aspect of the party and the gathering of friends and family…. I really wanted it to be a party for everyone and not so formal.

The only advice I have for brides is: don’t sweat the small things on your wedding day… This is the best day of your life and if things don’t turn out exactly how you planned, just laugh it off and it enjoy yourself because it goes by so fast and there’s no room for being upset.
