I might be way behind the times here, but I just discovered Australian designer Paolo Sebastian (thanks to the glorious Pinterest). I have to admit, I can talk about wedding design trends all day long, but I’m not well-versed in gown designers, which is something I strive to learn more about this year. For the most part, dresses don’t typically catch my eye, decor does, but THIS dress has me swooning. So incredibly feminine and romantic, it could literally inspire an entire wedding alone.
Paul Vasileff burst onto the Australian fashion scene with his elaborate, elegant and ethereal couture collections in 2007. Reminiscent of early 1950’s styles and inspired by style icons such as Marie Antoinette and Audrey Hepburn. Paolo Sebastian inspires a new vision of timeless elegance. Imported silks, French lace and beaded embellishments typify a Paolo Sebastian gown.
A graduate from the world renowned Europeo Istituto di Design, Vasileff fuses established style staples with a contemporary edge that not only creates unique handmade garments, but captivates those of truly romantic heart.
