Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

I remember exactly what I was doing at this very moment last year. I had just launched Satin & Snowflakes and was still getting used to the blogging experience. Pinterest wasn’t very popular at the time, so searching for images meant looking through thousands of mostly tasteless images on Google for hours trying to find the perfect pictures to share. It took me at least five hours to publish my St. Patrick’s Day post last year because I couldn’t find enough gorgeous, green wedding inspiration, but funny enough, it is still one of my favorite posts ever. Life got so much easier with Pinterest, didn’t it?

This year, I want to raise a glass of green beer to the 2013 Pantone Colour of the Year: Emerald. It is such a versatile colour and the theme of the new Satin & Snowflakes site. I am personally loving Emerald and Pink, and thought these invitations would be perfect to share with you today. I can honestly say that one of my favorite parts of a wedding are invitations. Gorgeous calligraphy and graphic design are two things that make my heart swell, and these ones made it skip a beat.
