“On January 2007, Erika and Tyson were introduced on Tyson’s first night in California at the Red Robin in Glendora. Erika was half way through her sophomore year playing softball and studying Communications at Azusa Pacific University. Tyson was starting at Citrus College to play football in hopes of landing a scholarship to a university. It wasn’t love at first sight, but it was a start to a wonderful friendship. A few months later, Tyson finally built up the courage to ask Erika out on their first date and from that point on they were inseparable, until Tyson accepted a football scholarship at the University of Nebraska in 2008. After a year and half being apart, Tyson returned to California to finish his college football career at APU. The last 3 years they’ve have had their up’s and down’s, but it’s only made Erika and Tyson’s love grow deeper. Five years to the date, in the same place where they first met, Tyson proposed to Erika. God has guided and provided for them, and will continue to do so as they place their faith and trust in Him. Erika and Tyson will take their vows before God, their family and friends, on February 2013 at the Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert, CA. Congratulations Erika & Tyson.”
