I'm an adventure-seeking, big dreaming girl who believes that life has no limits when you're willing to do the work, and the only rules you should play by are your own.

Brittany Frid

Welcome! I'm

Let's meet!

Believe it or not, I was on track to becoming a Civil Litigation lawyer. I liked the idea of climbing that corporate ladder and working for a law firm in a big city. I moved out when I was 18 years old and money was tight though, so I hustled hard at coffee shops and catering gigs while I was in college until I could get my foot into the door of a law firm. I worked 9-5 at firms for years as a law clerk, saving up to go to law school. I was so proud to be working in my dream field...

Never in my life did I think I'd be a self-employed wedding planner. I was going to be a lawyer...

I helped a co-worker with her wedding back in 2011 and my eyes were opened to a whole new world outside of my cubicle. I ended up starting a blog for fun that featured weddings and vendors in my city, and within two years it became a top Canadian wedding blog. Little did I know that just a few years later, I'd be running a huge team, travelling the world, see my name on a beautiful boutique, and have the most incredible clients and creative projects I could ever ask for.

... but there was something wrong. My 9-5 was unfulfilling and I was craving creativity and freedom.

These days? I spend the summer wedding season at home with my team, and the off-season working remotely from the beach in Bali.

You'll probably find me with a scotch in one hand and my passport in the other. I love to travel (clearly!). My goal was to work remotely one day. That day came a lot sooner than I anticipated. I work hard during the summers producing incredible weddings with the most wonderful clients, and as soon as the season is over, I fly wherever I fancy. I'm partial to South East Asia and found a second home in Bali where the people are kind, the vibe is tranquil, and life is good.

I'm a wedding designer, planner and florist by trade, but my heart lies in creating beauty wherever I go and inspiring other women to embrace their bold, face their fears and dream big. Really big.
